Here we have a Rare Stunning Renowned Ford Mustang Bullitt, 5.0 V8, Manual. Finished in arguably the best colour Highland Green (only other colour option was black) with Recaro Bucket Seats in Full Black Leather with Green Stitching. Registered January 2019 (68 Plate), Its in Fabulous condition, with just 7,800 Miles and 2 private owners from new, last supplied by JKSC too.

Based on the Facelift Mustang GT, the Bullitt was a 50th Anniversary Car of the Famous Film Car, Costing £5,000 more than the top Spec GT, It Featured either the famous Highland Green Paint or Shadow Black as an option. Original Bullitt Torq Thrust-style Alloys but in 19" with Large Red Brembos sat underneath. Inside saw Recaro Bucket Seats with Green Stitched Interior, White Cue Ball Gear Knob, Fantastic B&O Stereo and Bullitt badging. Ford Mustang Bullitt is a special edition of the current ‘Stang that apes Steve McQueen’s wheels in perhaps the most famous movie car chase of them all. It was launched last year to mark 50 years since the release of Bullitt. Dark Highland Green as standard – although you could pay more for Shadow Black, if movie-authentic looks are less important than stealth. Even the wheels are akin to those on McQueen’s movie car; although the Torq Thrust-style originals are replaced by much larger 19-inch versions of a similar design. If slightly old-school V8 sports car. Its engine breathes more freely and therefore sounds better than ever. It looks brilliant, and is even pretty good to drive – in a traditional, chest thumping kind of way.

Internally, the 5.0-litre V8 remains in standard tune, but been allowed to breathe much more freely thanks to a huge new Air induction system., bigger throttle bodies and an all-new exhaust. The result is a hike in power to 453bhp plus a fulsome 529Nm of torque. But, the Bullitt’s V8 engine feels and sounds very different indeed. This almost makes the Bullitt worth the extra £5,000 outlay on its own.

The upgrades don’t stop there. As well as extensive Bullitt badging on the steering wheel, sills and bootlid, you also get Ford’s new SYNC infotainment system, alongside Apple CarPlay and not least a thumping 1,000-watt B&O sound system. You also get a pair of Recaro seats and a white cue ball gear lever for the six speed manual transmission. Ford has also uprated the brakes to big Brembos, while the gearbox features a new auto blip on downshifts. This works a treat, even if it means you no longer need to master the art of heel and toe because the electronics take care of that for you.

Ford’s optional new MagneRide system, which improves the body control while offering a ride that is decidedly more soothing than normal. This set-up is worth the £1,600 extra.
